Gold Coast Business Events will host an event for senior representatives from key Japanese Inbound Tour Operators (ITOs) in Sydney today at Establishment.

The event will incorporate a destination training seminar with 14 Gold Coast member partners conducting appointments with guests, followed by an exclusive reception.

Gold Coast Tourism Manager – International Marketing (Japan) Yoshimi Kobayashi, will present an update on the Gold Coast to the ITOs, who are influential in the choice of destination and selection of product for Japanese incentive programs and corporate groups.

The event will provide guests with the opportunity to hear about the exciting new developments, venues and delegate experiences emerging as the city prepares to host Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.

Director of Gold Coast Business Events, Anna Case said the event is the perfect forum to update key influencers with the very latest on offer in a city experiencing high demand as an incentive and meeting destination in 2018.

“We initiated this event last year in response to the increasing interest we’re receiving for this growing market,” she said.

“At a time when the Gold Coast is experiencing revitalised interest, this event is an ideal opportunity for these valued professionals to find out the latest news on Gold Coast venues and suppliers, source inspiration for memorable programs and build solid relationships with our industry partners.”
