Qantas to add additional flights on APAC network

Melbourne, Australia - November 19, 2012: Qantas Airways Airbus A380 registered VH-OQF takes off as QF93 to Los Angeles (LAX) from Melbourne International Airport at Tullamarine, Victoria.

Qantas has made adjustments to parts of its Aisa Pacific network to meet an increase in demand.

From December 2018 the airline will operate additional Airbus A330 services on the Sydney-Singapore and Sydney-Jakarta routes.

From 14 December, a third Sydney-Singapore service (QF83/84) will be added on Mondays, Fridays and Sundays. This brings the total Sydney-Singapore services to 17 per week, up from 14 previously.

The Sydney-Jakarta services (QF41/42) will increase from five to six weekly, starting from the 13th of December, with the additional service operating on Thursdays.

The airline will also increase its Sydney-Noumea service from three to four times weekly from 12 December using its Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The additional service will operate on Wednesdays.
