“After running a number of events in Sydney, we decided to shake up the format, to provide our attendees a greater opportunity to discuss and learn how regional Victoria can deliver an outstanding events, all while enjoying fabulous Victorian produce and wines supplied by Rochford Wines in the Yarra Valley,” Porter said.

“The Regional Showcase is a great way for destinations and venues to build relationships with event buyers and industry stakeholders.

“We had great feedback from our previous events, with buyers being exposed to venues that they were not previously aware of, and many venues reporting genuine booking enquiries as a result of their involvement. This is what the Business Exchange is all about!

“I encourage the event industry to embrace the business exchange, come along and see what is on offer, and enjoy some great food, wine and networking,” he said.
