With Sri Lanka Convention Bureau’s roadshow series just around the corner, we take a look at some of the culinary delights that attendees will enjoy.

SLCB is inviting meeting and event planners, corporate travel experts and their clients to taste all that makes the island destination incredible, from its beautiful and unique venues, to its rich culture and delectable cuisine.

The roadshow series will visit Melbourne on Tuesday 3 September, followed by Sydney on Thursday 5 September, and each event has its own, distinct menu featuring some well-known Sri Lankan gastronomy.

Melbourne attendees will have their tastebuds tantalised with an array of dishes including chai tea panna cotta, ulundu vadai, chickpea samosas, wambatu sambol (eggplant salad), kiri malu (fish curry), and kesari (semolina pudding with cashew nuts, chocolate cardamom mousse and raspberries).

Meanwhile, the Sydney menu will include Sri Lankan fish cutlet balls, coconut ladoo, mulligatawny soup, sambhar (vegetable stew), chicken curry, and watalappam (coconut custard pudding).
