The Australian Business Events Expo and Sydney’s Event Showcase will launch a new VIP buyer program at this year’s trade show, allowing exhibitors to schedule one-on-one meetings with event buyers.

The revamped program allows all exhibitors to meet with over 60 targeted buyers, all of which have direct influence over financial decisions. Access extends over both tradeshows.

Event director Karen Krieger expects the program will allow exhibitors to secure quality business leads from buyers across the Asia Pacific region.

Pre-scheduled appointments will also maximise opportunities for exhibitors to conduct business over the two-day trade show, she added.

“The primary reason organisations exhibit at tradeshows is to meet new clients, secure qualified business leads and in turn do business. We also want to ensure the visitor has a positive experience at the event and can take part in a number of activities arranged for them,” she said.

ABEE and Sydney's Event Showcase will be held at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre on August 14-15.
