AIME success for Brand USA debut
By admin

The business events sector has welcomed the debut of the Brand USA pavilion at the Asia-Pacific Incentives and Meetings Expo, according to the destination marketing organisation.

Brand USA spokesperson Tahnee Dobson reported a significant number of enquiries for destinations across the US as the pavilion brought a range of representatives from the US business events sector to Melbourne for the trade show for the first time. The organisation only established a presence in Australia in June.

“There was a lot of excitement from the industry at seeing a comprehensive US presence,” Dobson told an update briefing earlier this week.

Representatives included: the Los Angeles Tourism and Convention Board, Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, Bellagio, California Tours, Santa Monica Convention & Visitors Authority, Universal Studios Hollywood, San Francisco Travel and Rocky Mountaineer.

Based on the success of this year’s event, Brand USA underlined its commitment to the show going forward.

“We hope to build on that presence in the coming years,” Dobson said.
