Australian Technology Park in Sydney will be able to better cater to large-scale conferences and exhibitions with an upgrade of its technological services.

The enhancement will mean that free wi-fi can be accessed across the entire conference centre.

Director of sales, Ruby Chronis, branded it an "exciting development" for the venue.

"Once the new system has been put in place, creating large-scale conferences and exhibitions will be easier, putting us even further at the forefront of conference centre technology," she said.

The Park already benefits from a high-speed optic-fibre "backbone" which enables limitless network configurations, internet connectivity, wireless LAN network and video conferencing.

Its 500-seat theatre features a surround sound system, digital data and video projection along with a full-size cinema screen.Interactive whiteboard spaces are offered by seven interactive Smart screens.

The venue will be showcasing its facilities at the Australian Business Events Expo from Augus 14 to 15.

"ABEE is always a great event that allows us to meet and learn off our peers whilst showing the event world the innovative projects and functions the Park is bringing to the industry," Chronis said.
