BCD signs new deal with Travelport
By admin

Travelport has entered into a new long-term global agreement with travel management company, BCD Travel, which will eventually offer its agents access to Travelport Smartpoint, the company’s newest interactive desktop technology.

BCD Travel currently operates in some 100 countries and services 30% of the top 100 largest companies in the world, as ranked by total annual airline volume.

The deal will also give BCD Travel access to Travelport’s Rich Content and Branding merchandise solution, launched earlier this year. The system, which has received interest from airlines, controls how fares are presented bringing agency screens in line with the carrier’s own website experience.

The agreement is said to enable both companies to offer expanded service and support to new and existing multinational customers.
