Game changing platform for business event bookings
By admin

A partnership between Mantra Group and software company iVvy will see the launch of a real-time booking engine for the business events industry.

After two years in the making, the world-first platform will offer Mantra customers a seamlessly integrated experience with real-time efficiencies, better accessibility and more dynamic solutions to its conferencing and meetings customers.

The new booking engine will be rolled out this month across 94 Peppers and Mantra  conferencing properties in Australia and New Zealand, providing online Request For Proposal capabilities, and then move to Live Real Time bookings towards the end of the year.

Once completely live, customers will have the ability to secure accommodation block bookings, submit banqueting event orders, make menu choices, manage function diaries and registrations and control marketing support and supplier procurement, all in real time.

Mantra Group executive director of sales, marketing and distribution, Kent Davidson described the platform as “a real game changer for Mantra Group and for the business events industry as a whole.”

“The conference market requires a more dynamic solution to the planning and booking of both large and small scale conferences and events and iVvy provides a seamless automated solution for our team, clients and partners,” Davidson added.

iVvy chief executive officer Lauren Hall, said the vision is not just to provide great platforms for the hospitality and events industry, but also to facilitate great experiences for every individual, something that has been brought to life with the Mantra partnership.
