Accor has grown its Canberra hotel network to five properties with the rebadging of the Rydges Canberra Eagle Hawk Resort as Ibis Styles Eagle Hawk.

The 151-room property, now named Ibis Styles is located 10 minutes from Canberra CBD and 11km from Canberra Airport.

 

Qantas has offically launched its 12th regional lounge at Tamworth Airport as it reported growing demand for premium travel from business and leisure travellers in regional New South Wales.

Its regional division, QantasLink, recently added eight flights per week on the Sydney-Tamworth route, adding more than 4,000 weekly seats.

 

Industry rates of $99 have been launched at Mercure Melbourne Treasury Gardens for stays from now until September 26.

The rates, for a city view room, are room only with PCOs to quote "Industry Rate' at the time of booking.

 

Sydney Interactive Theatre has opened bookings for two new team building days, with one in the form of interactive street theatre and the other a pop-up dining experience. 

The Messenger is set in the Rocks with participants playing the role of a 1920's gangster with a bar crawl element, while The Human Torch Case sees participants crack crime in a Surry Hills laneway before enjoying Spanish Tapas for dinner.

 

Intercontinental Sanctuary Cove has appointed Gary Lee to the position of chief concierge.

Lee is one of only four Les Clef d'Or concierges in Queensland.
