Brisbane Airport’s domestic terminal is set to grow with two new hotels and a conference centre beginning construction in early 2015.

The 130-room Pullman and a 243-room Ibis will be built, offering restaurants, cafes and bars as well as a conference meeting and event space for up to 600 people.

The new accommodations will generate additional spending in Queensland’s visitor economy according to peak national industry body Tourism and Transport Forum, and will also create 1000 jobs during construction and up to 350 jobs once the hotel is operational. 

 

Laguna Phuket will host Thailand's first Domestic MICE Mart organised by Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau.

The campaign aims to promote and enhance the MICE industry development in Thailand by rolling out monthly tradeshows targeted five MICE cities; Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Khon Kaen, Pattaya, and Phuket, over a period of five consecutive months which started in late March 2014 in Bangkok.

 

Airbnb and Uber are the latest partners to join Concur, a growing platform that improves business travel and streamline expenses.

With this partnership, business travellers are provided with easier ways of booking trips and completing their expenses, while finance and travel managers are able to maintain accuracy, visibility and manageability Concur’s open platform.
