Belarus’ national carrier, Belavia, will place its B2 code on Etihad flights from Minsk to Abu Dhabi and onwards to Ho Chi Minh City, Melbourne and Sydney under a new codeshare agreement, subject to regulatory approval.

Effective June 15, the deal will also see Etihad increase its Abu Dhabi-Minsk service from three weekly flights to a daily schedule and offer onward connections from Minsk to Kiev, Moscow and Saint Petersburg.

Etihad has launched a "Meet and Greet" service for guests arriving at Abu Dhabi International Airport.

The service, designed to make it easier to collect luggage and pass through Abu Dhabi immigration and customs, can be booked up to 48 hours before travel and is priced from US$38 per person.

Air Seychelles and Czech Airlines have signed a codeshare agreement to link Prague and the Seychelles.

The partnership enables passengers of the two airlines to book and travel between Prague and the Seychelles on one ticket, connecting in Abu Dhabi.

Qantas first and business customers will be able to book its Chauffeur Drive service on its Australia-Los Angeles and Australia-Dallas Fort Worth services from July 1.

The service, already available for passengers travelling between Australia, Dubai and London, will be rolled out progressively to flights greater than 12 hours long in 2014.

Emirates has commenced daily non-stop services from Dubai to Tokyo Haneda, using Boeing 777-200LR aircraft.
