The Orange Group has appointed Darryl Edradan as its new production designer effective June 17.

Edradan, formerly senior creative designer for Communication Design International, will relocate from Singapore to Auckland.

 

Ocean sailing trips and a MasterCook kitchen challenge in Port Stephens, NSW have been released as new products for the MICE market, following the launch of MICE Port Stephens earlier this year.

Blue Water Sailing's four to five hour skippered charter sails from Port Stephens to Newcatsle are priced from $249 per person with a minimum four passengers.

Meanwhile, the two hour MasterCook cooking contest at Shoal Bay Resort and Spa is priced from $120 per person/

 

Macau's Sheraton Macao Hotel has confirmed its participation in the Meet for Free offer launched by Cotai Strip Macau at IMEX this week,

Under the offer, the 3,896 room hotel with more than 14,000 square metres of meeting space will seek to incentivise meeting planners to hold their event in the complex which has more than 100 dining options along with boutiques, galleries and love entertainment,

Priced from HK$1,300 per room per night, the offer includes full day use of one plenary room, welcome coffe or tea each morning, morning and afternoon coffee breaks, complimentary buffet lunch and use of basic audio visual equipment.

To qualify, meeting planners must contract a minimum two nights' stay and 50 rooms per night for bookings made between June 1 and December 31 for meetings in 2013 and beyond.

 

Best Western is set to launch its famous hotel brand in Myanmar as it sealed an agreement to take on management of the 189-room Green Hill Hotel, a modern new property the heart of Yangon.

The agreement makes it the first US hotel company to establish a presence in Myanmar.
