Pumphouse bar in Darling Harbour reclaimed its status as one of Sydney’s top craft beer establishments last week, with over 100 people testing the brew at an industry event.

Re-launched to a packed crowd on March 7, Pumphouse showcased some of its top 100 boutique beers and a range of new dishes. Attendees also carved up the dancefloor to their old favourite tunes, before taking in the century-old surrounds of Darling Harbour.

Situated atop the Novotel Rockford Darling Harbour, Pumphouse has produced its own beer since 1985 and been operating as a bar and restaurant for over 30 years.

The new look bar has retained its historic character, featuring high tables, cow hide ottomans and the original pump station which powered the city’s first lifts.
