Qantas reveals Aquire launch partners

Qantas has revealed the launch partners for its corporate loyalty scheme Aquire which rewards small to medium enterprises for everyday transactions.

In addition to travel, banking, buying insurance and doing taxes will all accrue Aquire points for members, which can then be converted into Qantas points in the name of an individual Qantas Frequent Flyer.

Points can then be used towards employee gifts, flights for both work and leisure and other products and experiences from the Qantas store which can benefit the member businesses’ bottom line.

The program will officially launch on March 30 with a “diverse” group of launch partners includes Westpac, GIO Business Insurance and Deloitte Private.

Westpac will offer Aquire Points to businesses using a Westpac Business Choice Rewards Card, with GIO to reward points on a selection of business-related insurance products. Members can earn points when using Deloitte for accounting, audit, tax, advisory and self-managed superannuation services while Qantas will allow individuals to earn Aquire Points for their business at the same time as earning Qantas Points for themselves.

“Aquire is the loyalty program for Australian businesses as members can earn points for doing many of the things they already do today,” Qantas Loyalty chief executive Lesley Grant said.

“We’ll add to our strong list of program partners and are also working with Chambers of Commerce and industry across Australia to ensure each program partner is a good fit for small business.”

All Australia-based small and medium businesses can register for the program with more than 25,000 businesses so far registered for the program.

Other launch partners include Avis, Budget, Macquarie Leasing, Qantas Freight, QBE, Randstad, Regus, Secure Parking, Snap, Staples and Workforce HQ.
