The great thing about my job is…

the opportunity to work with great people in an ever-changing and evolving industry.

The challenge for my job and the wider industry…

to keep abreast of not only new technology and how that impacts on our industry but also guest expectations and how we can best meet and deliver on those expectations.

My greatest achievement is…

being mum to two wonderful kids and more recently, being given the opportunity to lead a new management team at Crowne Plaza Coogee Beach.

The biggest thing in MICE is….

automated group booking tools such as Crowne Plaza’s new GroupMAX reservation technology which provides our meeting planners and guests with a suite of tools that ensure peace of mind, convenience and higher levels of service.

I try to relax by…

spending quality time with family and friends.

My favourite venue in Sydney is…

since we have just moved back to Sydney after having been away for nearly a decade, we're looking forward to discovering some great new places. Right now we’re discovering some of the fabulous spots available in Sydney’s seaside village, Coogee Beach.

I’m scared to death of…

there is not much I find frightening aside from ''feathered'' animals – namely birds!

My worst habit is…

finding it hard to say no!

My favourite albums are…

always changing and usually dependent on what is current and new.

I don’t understand why…

I didn’t move to Coogee Beach sooner, with its picturesque coastal walk, lush parklands and fine sand beach, it truly is heaven.

iPhone, BlackBerry or Android?…

I can’t live without…

a good coffee to kick start the day.

I really wish I had…

endless time.

If I could invite four people to a dinner party it would be…

for inspiration: philanthropists Bill and Melinda Gates and Bono; for good conversation and strong views, Jack Welch; and for a delicious meal, Jamie Oliver.
