Agents picks TO DO as must-do

The Australian National Maritime Museum is proving popular with Asian wholesalers, after hosting 160 agents from China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Japan, Thailand, Singapore and most recently, Vietnam.

The famil for the Vietnamese agents from Cockatoo Adventures aimed to strengthen the Museum’s relationship with the Vietnamese community and increase visitation from the South Asian destination. The opportunity was generated via the Museum’s tourism representation agency, Australian Attractions.Vietnam2

The group spent the day exploring the exact replica of Cook’s famous HMAS Endeavour, HMAS Vampire, HMAS Onslow, the Vietnamese TO DO vessel and the recently launched $12 million dynamic attraction Action Stations. They also enjoyed lunch at the Museum’s waterside café, Yots.

The Museum’s ship keeper Dominique Anderson speaks fluent Vietnamese and acted as guide for the group.
