ATEC announces keynote address by Matildas star Elise Kellond-Knight

More than 550 delegates attending ATEC Meeting Place in Adelaide next week will be treated to a conversation with women’s football star, Olympian and World Cup contender, Elise Kellond-Knight.
As one of the leaders of women’s football in Australia, ‘KK’ is one of our most accomplished footballers as an Asian Cup winner, a veteran of over 100 caps and named in the FIFA World Cup All Star Teams in 2011 and 2015.
Faced with her own share of adversity, KK was sidelined after an injury which saw her miss out on taking her spot with the Matildas during the recent FIFA World Cup. She showed her resilience when she became a high-profile commentator during the World Cup and remains fully committed to the game with her rigorous training regime.
During her address to Meeting Place, KK will reveal how she made it, connect to the history of the Matildas, and share the resilience, hard work and unrelenting determination which saw the team rise to carry the excitement and expectations of the nation.
Meeting Place will take place over three days from 30 October to 1 November in venues across Adelaide including the Adelaide Hills.
Following the keynote, delegates will be transferred to the Adelaide Hills to take part in breakout sessions set across four amazing venues – Ambleside Distillers, Grunthal Brew, Sidewood Estate Restaurant and The Lane Vineyard, to enjoy lunch and an interactive product experience.
This year’s Gala Dinner will be held at a unique Lot 100 in the Adelaide Hills and the awards will be presented by Federal Minister for Trade and Tourism, Senator the Hon. Don Farrell.
