Australia’s first Hilton Garden Inn is coming to Western Australia

Just one week after celebrating its 100-year anniversary, Hilton is bringing its Hilton Garden Inn brand to Australia.

The hotel, which will be located in Albany, Western Australia under a management agreement with Foreshore Investments Albany, will be managed by Hilton upon completion in late 2020.

“Hilton Garden Inn has been focused on penetrating new markets and expanding its presence around the globe, so we are thrilled to announce our entry into Australia in partnership with Foreshore Investments Albany Pty Ltd.,” said John Greenleaf, senior vice president and global head at Hilton Garden Inn.

“With the rise of the middle-class traveller, we believe that the Hilton Garden Inn brand will be extremely well-received in Australia and we look forward to bringing our bright and warm hospitality to travellers visiting the region.”

Hilton Garden Inn Albany will offer 108 rooms, including eight superior rooms and four corner suites.

It will also incorporate a restaurant and bar, a fitness centre, and three meeting rooms totalling 165 square metres of space.

Albany, in southern West Australia, is a region known for its rugged natural coastal beauty, beaches, abundance of wildlife and national parks.

As the oldest colonial settlement in Western Australia, the region also offers multiple heritage attractions including the Museum of Great Southern and Old Gaol Museum.

Hilton Garden Inn Albany will be located on the waterfront next to the new Albany Entertainment Centre and offer stunning views over the harbour and ocean.

Hilton Garden Inn Albany will join 27 operating and 11 pipeline Hilton properties throughout Australasia.
