Boss accidentally turns herself into a spud during work meeting

Having video conferencing troubles? Well, pray you don’t turn yourself into a potato during a meeting with your colleagues.

That’s exactly what one hapless employer happened to do while speaking to her staff on a four-way conference call via Microsoft Teams.

The worst part is that she couldn’t figure out how to turn it off, and had to sit through a whole meeting as a potato head. Lucky for us, one of her staffers shared the hilarious moment on Twitter:

The image has garnered more than 945,000 likes and no shortage of legendary responses (even from the likes of Teams’ developer, Microsoft):

To her credit, the boss, who can be revealed as Twitter user Lizet Ocampo, handled it like an absolute champ.

“The good news is that my boss, Lizet Ocampo, will not be sacking me tomorrow,” @PettyClegg said.

“We hashed it all out tonight and our team is still laughing with you all. STAY PLANTED AT HOME and welcome my potato boss.”

Here’s what the potato boss had to say:

“I yam potato boss. You should see me in a crown, right @billieeilish?

“I yam glad this is making folks laugh at this time. Please stay planted at home and safe!”

For some though, the thought of becoming a potato mid-way through an office call might sound like the stuff of nightmares.

But for a few Twitter users, it’s exactly what the doctor ordered.
