Business Events Geelong goes digital with all-new 2022 Planner’s Guide

Business Events Geelong has released its 2022 Planner’s Guide – a digital tool to assist event organisers in finding the right venue, experience, or service provider.

For many years, the bi-annual Planner’s Guide released by Business Events Geelong has been presented in a hard-copy format, however with the majority of the industry’s workforce working from home last year, a paperless solution was required.

“We are proud to present our 2022 Planner’s Guide in a format that is not only highly interactive and easy to use, but its paperless format treads lighter on the earth, too,” said convention bureau manager, Mark Day.

“The 2022 Digital Planner’s Guide is a one-stop-shop for event organisers looking to plan their business events in our beautiful region.”

The 81-page interactive guide is the first of its kind for the region. Hosted on the Embrace Interactive platform, the dynamic guide includes information on each region, how to access the destination, and a list of service providers, venues and activities covering Geelong, The Bellarine, Queenscliff, Point Lonsdale and Werribee.

Each venue and experience listing features capacity information, an overview of the offering, and direct links to social media pages and websites.

There are also several virtual site visits hosted in the guide, showcasing venues such as Higher Mark’s GMHBA Stadium, Rydges Geelong, Novotel Geelong, Werribee Open Range Zoo, Provenance Wines, Lancemore Mansion Hotel Werribee, Waurn Ponds Estate, Pier Geelong, Mt Duneed Estate, Lon Retreat and more.
