Christchurch goes on show at MEETINGS
By admin

Christchurch and Canterbury are set to have a huge presence at MEETINGS, with a new stand and five new exhibitors joining the team.

The increased presence is due to the dynamic change happening in the city and the growing interest in these destinations according to Caroline Blanchfield, bureau manager.

“We have several new venues, more exciting developments in the pipeline and many magical South Island experiences to share with guests at MEETINGS this year,” Blanchfield said.

In recent months the city has been hailed for its creativity and innovation, and recommended as a place to visit by big names such as the New York Times, Architectural Digest, Lonely Planet and Trip Advisor.

The stand will be open for guests to mix and mingle with the team and learn all about these up and coming destinations.

A three-day pre-MEETINGS famil is also on offer, with many Australian agents signing up to experience the sights and delights of New Zealand’s largest region, Canterbury.

MEETINGS will be held in Auckland on June 18 and 19.
