Corporate Travel Management appoints new director

Corporate Travel Management (CTM) has announced the appointment of Jon Brett to its board as a non-executive director.

Brett will join CTM’s board from 31 January 2020. His appointment is part of the company’s ongoing board and governance renewal process.

Currently a non-executive director of Mobilicom, Brett brings extensive board and management experience to CTM, particularly in the areas of finance and corporate advisory.

He was previously an executive director of Investec Wentworth Private Equity and an executive of Investec Bank (Australia).

Brett has also served as a non-executive director of Godfreys Group, The Pas Group and Indoor Skydive Australia Group, where he was also chairman. Furthermore, he was one of the first directors at telco Vocus – a role he held for more than a decade.

CTM chairman Ewen Crouch said: “Jon is an experienced listed company director and brings with him a deep understanding of large, complex technology businesses, which will be a valuable addition to the board and particularly helpful in the execution of CTM’s future strategy.”

Commenting on his appointment, Brett said: “I’m looking forward to joining the board and am excited by the opportunity to contribute my expertise and experience for the benefit of the continued success of CTM.”

Brett will nominate for election as a director at CTM’s 2020 annual general meeting.
