Crystalbrook’s Little Albion welcomes new GM

Boutique Surry Hills hotel Little Albion has announced the appointment of Christopher Greening as its new general manager.

Greening joins the Crystalbrook Collection hotel following a career in hospitality spanning more than a decade.

Most recently, Greening was the executive assistant manager for Meriton Suites, where he pre-opened two hotels. He has also held senior positions with One&Only Collection, Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley and InterContinental’s Hayman Island Resort.

Crystalbrook Collection’s interim CEO and group director of hotels, Geoff York, said: “Greening is an accomplished hotelier with extensive experience operating fantastic luxury properties.

“His knowledge will be put to excellent use ensuring Little Albion is seen as one of Sydney’s finest boutique hotels.”

Commenting on his appointment, Greening said: “Crystalbrook was an incredibly attractive company to work for … the group’s brand pillars align with my core values.

“Little Albion has been a project I’ve been aware of since pre-opening and I’ve watched it closely. It’s a gorgeous property that nests into the wondrous suburb of Surry Hills, sparkling with the lux of 70s glam and deco decadence.”
