Cvent makes mobile event tech push with DoubleDutch acquisition

Meetings events and hospitality tech provider Cvent has announced the acquisition of San Francisco-based mobile event app player DoubleDutch.

In a statement, Cvent said the acquisition of DoubleDutch highlights its investment in the mobile technology space, and will complement and grow the company’s signature mobile event app and onsite solution capabilities.

Cvent founder and CEO Reggie Aggarwal said: “We are extremely excited to add DoubleDutch to the Cvent family.

“By adding DoubleDutch’s industry expertise to Cvent, we accelerate our investment in mobile event technology.

“We are also proud to welcome the talented DoubleDutch team to our more than 4,000 Cventers worldwide. Together, we will continue to drive innovation in how attendees engage at events.”
