Holly Ransom, founder and CEO of advisory firm Emergent, has been named as the host of Meetings & Events Australia (MEA)’s national event industry conference.
Ransom’s experience in business and the event industry stands her in good stead to spearhead Evolve, bringing to light and connecting key learnings from the thought leaders across the days’ agenda.
She will also deliver the closing keynote of the day, unpacking the mindsets, methods and mastery principles needed to lead at the edge of possibility, in an age of uncertainty.
Having worked with and interviewed diverse thinkers and pioneers such as Barack Obama, Malcolm Gladwell, Condoleezza Rice, Sir Richard Branson and Nobel Prize Winner Muhammad Yunus, Ransom will bring insights of real-world leadership from her interactions with these trailblazers to Evolve.
With a resolute belief that we are all capable of being the change we want to be in the world, her keynote will serve as both a rallying cry to the events industry to lead in a new way, and offer a pragmatic toolkit for how to take up that challenge.
Ransom joins a whopping line-up of speakers including the former head of innovation and creativity at Disney, Duncan Wardle, who will open the conference live from Florida.
Evolve will kick off on 8 September at the Sofitel Melbourne On Collins.
