Melbourne needs your vote

The Melbourne Convention Bureau (MCB) is trying for its third consecutive year of being the recipient of the title of ‘Australasia’s Leading Meetings and Conference Destination’.

MCB and Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) are urging voters to enter them into the 2015 World Travel Awards.

The MCEC is aiming for its fourth consecutive recognition of the title of ‘Australasia’s Leading Meetings and Conference Centre’.

Melbourne’s success as a premier business events destination could be attributed to three key factors: city-wide collaboration, world-class infrastructure and knowledge capabilities in a variety of sectors, according to MCB chief executive officer Karen Bolinger.

“Melbourne is also the World’s Most Liveable City as named by the Economist Intelligence Unit for last four years, offering delegates a safe, multicultural and vibrant destination to explore during their down time,” Bolinger said.

You can cast your vote for Melbourne in the category of ‘Australasia’s Leading Meetings and Conference Destination’ and MCEC in ‘Australasia’s Leading Meetings and Conference Centre’. Voting closes on August 30, 2015.
