Nautica Pool Bar & Kitchen now open at Rydges Geelong

Rydges Geelong has opened the doors to a completely new dining experience.

Nautica Pool Bar & Kitchen features an indoor and alfresco dining area and bar, making it a perfect place to unwind, relax and escape during events.

Under experienced executive chef Eddie Basich, the restaurant features a menu inspired by fresh, locally-sourced produce.

It also showcases a cocktail menu that boasts favourites like Negronis and French Martinis, alongside fresh and delicious twists on classic cocktails, like the Blood Orange Mojito and Pomegranate Spritz.

The menu offers something for everyone, from rolls and bowls to larger plates, pizzas and a range of meats from the grill.

There is also a Feasting Menu for groups of four or more, designed to take guests on a journey through some of Nautica’s best dishes, including Yellowfin tuna ceviche with lemon oil, fennel and capers; Furphy-battered fish with crunchy fries and lemon and herb mayo; chicken schnitzel, celeriac and apple slaw and fries; and the Nautica ice cream sundae.

The restaurant seats 130 people and includes a 26-seat private dining room, Ms Nautica – perfect for corporate and private events. For a more casual experience, there’s a Friday Happy Hour from 5pm to 7pm, complete with live music.

Grant Melville, general manager at Rydges Geelong, said Nautica has been designed to present guests with a great new option for corporate events and parties, and is the perfect place for long lunches, client meetings or relaxed sundowners.

“Located steps from the hustle of the Geelong CBD, guests can expect a relaxed menu, a space inspired by the coast and a calendar full of events including Martini Mondays, Eat Happy Tuesdays, FOMO Fridays and Saturdaze,” he said.
