Novotel Cairns Oasis Resort is poised to unveil a contemporary new look this summer, alongside revamped event spaces.

The 4.5-star resort’s million-dollar refurbishment is on schedule to conclude in December, with Novotel’s guest rooms, public areas, bars, restaurant and conference rooms all having undergone a transformation.

In the process of its refurbishment, Novotel Cairns Oasis Resort has additionally unveiled five ‘revamped’ meeting spaces to the business and incentive events market this month.

These spaces are ideal for small to medium conferences with a capacity of up to 200 delegates.

Each indoor meeting space boasts an abundance of natural light plus updated audio-visual facilities, while Novotel’s vast grounds are ideal for outdoor events and team building activities.

During its renovation, Novotel Cairns Oasis Resort has also introduced two revitalised food and beverage venues in time for the spring season: MOKU Bar & Grill and MOKU Beach Club.

MOKU Beach Club is located poolside and serves up mojitos, margaritas, and martinis at Cairns’ only swim-up bar.

Meanwhile, MOKU Bar & Grill offers relaxed coastal dining and delicious local-inspired fare, with seasonal favourites such as whole fried baby barramundi, and twice-cooked pork knuckle with smoked root vegetables.

Alternatively, guests can graze on share plates while retreating to a daybed or relaxed seating, with regular music and entertainment on offer.

The final phase of refurbishment, which will conclude in December, has focused on Novotel’s 314 guest rooms, including a full refurbishment of 204 bright, light and spacious Deluxe rooms.

Standard room rates at the Novotel Cairns Oasis Resort start from $150, and Deluxe Rooms from $180 per room per night.

A free upgrade offer from a Standard Room into a Deluxe Room is available for guests who book and stay from 1 October 2019 to 31 March 2020.
