Opening date revealed for The Ritz-Carlton in Perth

The opening of The Ritz-Carlton, Perth is just around the corner, with the hotel announcing its official launch date for later this year.

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, part of Marriott International, has announced The Ritz-Carlton, Perth is set to open on 15 November 2019, with the new hotel aiming to deliver personalised service, “exceptional design” and “immersive experiences”.

What’s more, the hotel features 2,000 square metres of meeting and event space, which aims to host executive meetings and “the grandest of events”, with the stand-out Elizabeth Quay Ballroom offering 550 square metres of space, natural light, and views out over the Perth city skyline.

“Together with our ladies and gentlemen who strive for service excellence, we will bring together exceptional experience, beautiful design and memorable moments to create a profound sense of place for guests,” the hotel’s general manager, Dario Orsini, said.

“When The Ritz-Carlton, Perth opens on November 15 this year, it will create a new leisure destination for locals, visitors and travellers alike.”

The company added the hotel’s location at The Elizabeth Quay precinct, which connects the heart of the city to the Swan River, will create a social destination for Perth’s booming tourism industry and dining scene.

One top feature of the hotel is its design. Conceptualised, the building aims to pay homage to the history, culture and natural beauty of Western Australia, according to The Ritz-Carlton.

“With design weaved into the building’s fabric, the dramatic Western Australian landscape will be magically brought to life from the moment you enter,” the company said.

“Adorning the exterior and inside of the lobby, 10,000 pieces of handpicked Kimberley sandstone will transport guests to the rich natural wonder of the Kimberley, creating a sense of walking through the Karijini gorges.”
