Pan Pacific Perth unveils its newly transformed 2,500sqm convention floor

Pan Pacific Perth has unveiled its newly refurbished convention floor, the largest hotel conference and event space in Perth’s CBD at 2,500sqm.

The milestone complements the Adelaide Terrace hotel’s ongoing transformation, which has already seen the enhancement of 392 guest rooms and suites. The final stages will include upgrades to the porte cochère, lobby and the exclusive Pacific Club Lounge, rounding up an extensive refurbishment journey that redefines graceful luxury with contemporary flair inspired by Western Australia’s natural beauty and Pan Pacific’s Asian heritage.

During a recent stay in Perth for World Travel & Tourism Convention, Travel Weekly was invited on a guided tour of the impressive open plan, multifunctional convention space. The decision to renovate both the 488 rooms and the convention space rather than detonate and start again meant the Swan River-side hotel stayed open and was able to take advantage of the presence of hundreds of delegates in the city for the WTTC.

“The new convention floor marks a defining moment in the evolution of Perth’s MICE scene,” Pan Pacific Perth general manager Paul Flett said.

“As the largest hotel-based conference space in the CBD, we are perfectly positioned to host a diverse array of events. With the growing demand for dynamic, versatile venues, our new spaces blend modern sophistication with the warm hospitality Pan Pacific is known for.

“Whether it’s a board meeting or a grand gala, we’re committed to delivering world-class experiences that leave lasting impressions.”

The new convention floor spans over 2,500sqm and offers unparalleled flexibility, catering to a wide range of events, from intimate board meetings to large-scale conferences and elegant galas. Designed with a blend of natural light, modern aesthetics, and local influences, these spaces capture the essence of Western Australia’s landscape, setting a refined tone for business and social gatherings alike.

Central to Pan Pacific Hotels Group’s Love, Life, Legacy campaign, the spaces celebrate Pan Pacific Perth’s long history of hosting family events, business meetings, and significant milestones. Guests are encouraged to enrich their experience with premium room stays, while enjoying tailored benefits through the Pan Pacific DISCOVERY loyalty program.
