The best international business lounges have been revealed, as voted by Australia’s frequent flyers.

In a survey by Point Hacks, its subscribers were asked to vote for the airline or lounge with the best international business lounge experience.

Across all survey respondents, Qantas international business lounge came out on top, attracting 31 per cent of the votes.

Singapore Airlines followed, attracting 20 per cent of the vote, with Emirates at third with 19 per cent of the vote.

Cathay Pacific finished in fourth with 10 per cent, while Etihad Airways ranked fifth with six per cent. Virgin Australia, Air New Zealand and American Express all finished equal sixth, each with four per cent of votes, and Priority Pass rounded out the top seven with 2 per cent.

The results differed when respondents were segregated by state.

While Qantas was still voted number one in NSW, South Australia, Victoria and Queensland, Singapore Airlines secured the most votes among WA respondents (chosen as number one by 30 per cent).

Emirates secured the top spot among voters in the Northern Territory and ACT (50 and 36 per cent of voters in those states respectively).

Virgin Australia was ranked sixth by respondents across all states for its lounges, sharing the position with Air New Zealand and American Express (with four per cent of the vote each).
