Rydges Camperdown completes full refurbishment

Rydges Camperdown in Sydney has announced the completion of a full refurbishment of its guest rooms.

The extensive renovation at the four-star hotel has seen all 144 of its’s existing rooms updated, with the addition of two new accommodation rooms.

All rooms feature contemporary fixtures and fittings, including fully renovated bathrooms with walk-in showers and individual air conditioning units.

In addition, each room has a work station with extra power points for electronics and complimentary wireless internet access, as well as a new LCD flat-screen TV with all free-to-air channels and a selection of news and Foxtel channels.

Luxurious soft furnishings and Rydges Dream Beds, as well as full minibar and tea- and coffee-making facilities, are also included in each room.

David Clifford, general manager at Rydges Camperdown, said the major renovation allows the property to play up the strengths of the building.

“We are excited to unveil our freshly refurbished rooms that will deliver a completely new experience for our guests and include a mix of family rooms,” he said.

“The renovations also extended to all corridors, which were upgraded to deliver a modern feel to match the rooms.”
