The award-winning travel and event management company, TAG, has announced its partnership as the preferred travel partner for the 2024 SWSX Sydney at ICC Sydney.

TAG (The Appointment Group) is set to deliver a range of experiences at the event, including a panel discussion, “Trends, Technology, and the Future of Business and Leisure Travel.” Speaking on the panel are TAG APAC managing director Shane Barr, News Corp head of travel, food, and health Kerrie McCallum, ATIA CEO Dean Long, and IHG vice president, commercial, East Asia & Pacific Dean Jones.

SXSW Sydney 2024 is set to further eleveate its impact by showcasing the forefront of tech, innovation, gaming, music, and screen industries. The event features contributions from emerging creators and disruptors, alongside renowned industry experts and household names. The SXSW Sydney 2024 spans over 1,000 events and offers a diverse mix of conference sessions, screenings, social gatherings, professional development opportunities, and brand activations.

Key speakers include Australian astronaut at the Australian Space Agency, Katherine Bennell-Pegg; global head of business marketing at TikTok, Sofia Hernandez; New York Times best-selling author of Magic Pill and Stolen Focus: Why You Can’t Pay Attention, Johann Hari; and human rights lawyer Jennifer Robinson, who has been a long-standing member of the legal team defending Julian Assange and WikiLeaks.

TAG APAC managing director, Shane Barr, said TAG’s involvment in this year’s event aligns perfectly with the company’s commitment to supporting industry visionaries and creative innovators. TAG kicks off the week by hosting a Happy Hour on Monday, 14 October, from 4pm to 6pm at The Private Kitchen, a stunning heritage-listed urban warehouse in the heart of Chippendale. TAG’s hosted panel takes place on 15 October at 11:45am.
