Te Pae Christchurch appoints international events leader

Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre has announced the appointment of experienced client services manager Lee-Ann Dahl.

Dahl previously worked at the Durban International Convention Centre where she was part of the sales and events team for over 11 years. In this role, Dahl project-managed a wide range of large-scale events during her time in Durban, including the 21st World Routes Development Congress.

She also previously held a number hospitality roles in the UK.

Karine Legeay-Fisher, director of event services at Te Pae Christchurch, said: “Lee-Ann knows what it takes to make guests feel at home and that’s what Te Pae Christchurch is all about.

“We’re more than just a convention centre – we want each event to be an experience that leaves guests feeling immersed in our local culture.”

Commenting on her appointment, Dahl said she is looking forward to promoting the Canterbury region to delegates through events held at Te Pae Christchurch.

“Our team want to provide clients with the complete Christchurch experience and ensure people leave with amazing memories of service, food and hospitality,” she said.

“We’re confident we can deliver at the highest level.”
