Te Pae Christchurch bolsters team with new BDMs and chef

Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre has strengthened its team the appointment of two new business development executives and an international chef.

Joining director of business development Gillian Officer and Te Pae Christchurch’s team of BDMs are Brad Isherwood and Jördis Renz.

With a background in marketing, Isherwood (pictured above) joins Te Pae Christchurch from Vbase, where he worked across an extensive portfolio of venues as South Island BDM.

He will be working closely with Te Pae Christchurch’s New Zealand BDM, Hayley McKay, to showcase the venue to prospective locally-based clients, including at update events in Auckland and Wellington.

Renz, who has a strong background in the events sector, joins the team from event management company Uno Loco, having previously spent six years at the Auckland War Memorial Museum. She will provide support across all markets.

Te Pae Christchurch has also appointed international chef Desmond Davies, who brings with him over 20 years’ experience in the hospitality sector across Malaysia, Africa and Europe.

Davies was most recently the executive chef at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching.
