While the craziness of the COVID-19 pandemic continues apace, a few of you are probably wondering whether or not this year’s Women in Travel Awards are still happening.

While The Nibbler‘s sister publication, Travel Weekly, continues to obey current government regulations for gatherings, it is still moving ahead with the awards on Thursday 18 June 2020 at Doltone House Darling Island in Sydney.

In light of the current climate within the travel industry and beyond, the entry deadline has been extended to Tuesday 17 April at 5pm (AEST), so you still have some time up your sleeve to submit.

Submit your entry now HERE and/or nominate one of your peers HERE. And for more information on the awards, click HERE.

HOWEVER! It’s strongly advised you don’t leave your application(s) until the last minute, as spruiking yourself can be a daunting task which can only be made worse under pressure.

To get you inspired, check out the full list of last year’s award winners along with all the photos from the glitzy and glamorous affair. And if this isn’t enough, Travel Weekly has also interviewed a few of last year’s winners – you can read all about them here, here and here.

Early bird tickets for this year’s Women in Travel Awards are on sale now. Click HERE to secure your spot.

An update of the timing and/or format of this year’s Women in Travel Awards will be provided in due course. For any queries, please email Nicolle Lawson at nicolle@themisfits.media.

Recognising exceptional women in their profession is more than just a night to remember. Enter the Women in Travel Awards today to be part of the movement.
