This is Gold Coast highlights revealed
Gold Coast Business Events has revealed program highlights for its signature event, This is Gold Coast Business Exchange.
The event will showcase the Gold Coast’s strengths as a world-class destination for conferences, exhibitions and incentive programs and will be held from 25 – 28 May 2017.
The program will feature an afternoon at Polo by the Sea at Main Beach, taking in the captivating spectacle of the unique Urban Polo format. Officially known as ‘Ferrari Brisbane Polo by the Sea’, the event is part of the national Urban Polo series, one of the largest and most successful polo series around the world.
Hosted buyers from around 45 associations and companies will be able to take in the excitement and fun of the game while enjoying the hospitality of an exclusive corporate marquee, the colour of Fashions on the Field and be part of traditional divot stomps between games.
Other events will include a welcome function at The Star Gold Coast, currently undergoing a multi million dollar transformation, and a gala dinner at Sea World Resort and Conference Centre to showcase the newest event space at the iconic venue. A Commonwealth Games inspired themed breakfast will also be held at RACV Royal Pines Resort.
Director of Gold Coast Business Events, Anna Case said the event will be a collaborative city approach to securing future conferences with approximately 50 Gold Coast specialist suppliers exhibiting and hosting events.
“It’s always a challenge to devise this program, because there is so much on offer here for business events. Every part of This is Gold Coast Business Exchange is designed to deliver the Gold Coast wow factor and leave no doubt that we’re the best choice for business events in Australia,” she said.
This is Gold Coast Business Exchange will be held from 25 – 27 May at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre and multiple Gold Coast business event venues. A post familiarisation will follow until 28 May. The event will also include a new component, with a dedicated program for Professional Conference Organisers from 24 – 25 May.
Additional events will also be held at Miami Marketta, Intercontinental Sanctuary Cove Resort, Palazzo Versace Gold Coast and O’Reilly’s Canungra Valley Vineyards as well as site inspections at major meeting and accommodation venues.
