This is how Africa does trade shows

The Nibbler has spent the week at South African trade show INDABA, and it has shown how buying and supplying should be done.

INDABA 2017 has featured imposing stands, massage stations between back to back appointments and an outdoor food truck assembly.

Some stands have offered popcorn, smoothies and even ice cream macaroon sandwiches. The most frequently sighted items at stands, however, was South African wine and biltong.

The Sun International hotel stand was set up like a cafe, with wine and coffee; while Kenya Tourism had members of Maasai Mara tribes.

The Australian trade attendees include representatives from Adventure Destinations, Bench, Discover Africa, Eclipse, Inca Tours, Out and About, Prestige Safaris, Travel Africa, Ynot Concepts, Prestige Safaris, Africareps, Destinations Africa, Epic Private Journeys, Helloworld, The Africa Safari Co. and This is Africa.

7000 delegates have wheeled and dealed at the pan-African trade show.
