Tie the knot or meet in style at Daydream Island Resort
Got a client with a big function or event coming up? Or perhaps your boss is looking for the company’s next conference destination and you’ve been dreaming of island life.
Either way, we’ve got just the answer for you, because Daydream Island Resort is back baby, and they’re keen to host your next big event.
Following two years and $100 million worth of refurbishments, the 4.5-star resort has 277 refurbished, contemporary suites and rooms on offer plus a range of stellar conference and event facilities.
Fancy wowing your delegates with pristine views of azure water, stunning beaches and lush greenery? And we haven’t even mentioned the plethora of exciting activities!
Think snorkelling, helicopter rides and jet skiing in between sessions, or simply lounging around the pool with a cocktail, if that’s more your style.
Plus, special events from cocktail parties to gala dinners can be catered for across a range of event locations both indoors and outdoors, if you’d like to treat your delegates to the natural wonders of the island.
The island is also the perfect place for a destination wedding whether you’re planning on bringing the whole family over or seeking a private island ceremony. The best part? Their team can be with you every step of the way, from hair and makeup to photography and cake design.
The food and beverage options have also been expanded to feature three signature dining concepts; Infinity, Graze Interactive Dining and Inkstone Kitchen and Bar plus Barefoot Bar and Tonic Bar. With dishes ranging from Asian fusion to modern Australian, there’s sure to be something even the fussiest eaters will enjoy.
To give delegates an unforgettable, immersive experience, consider wowing them with the Living Reef, adding an educational and eco-friendly focus to your event. The free form coral lagoon will
wrap 200m around the central building and hold over 1.5 million litres of water. Here, you can
join the team of marine biologists who live on the island and feed baby stingrays
who live amongst over 100 species of marine fish, coral and invertebrates such as starfish,
sea cucumbers and crabs. A new underwater observatory will also allow guests to view 4
metres below the water’s surface to watch the marine life in action.
You can even book out the entire island for exclusive use if you’re after a more personalised, private experience.
