WATCH: Lookalike puppets steal the runway show at Milan Fashion Week

Amid the coronavirus pandemic, fashion designers have been forced to flex their creative muscles to showcase their art.

During Milan Fashion Week, Italian luxury fashion house Moschino opted to deliver its Spring-Summer 2021 show with marionette puppets on a tiny runway.

According to CNN Style, Moschino creative director Jeremy Scott enlisted the help of Jim Henson’s Creature Shop to create the scaled-down show, with all models and attendees as puppets.

These featured lookalikes of famous faces that reportedly included Anna Wintour and British Vogue editor-in-chief Edward Enninful in the crowd.

“Not only did all the clothes have to be scaled down, and all the accessories scaled down (to) the size of the marionettes, but the whole audience had to be not only created and dressed,” Scott said in a video interview with CNN Style.

Luckily, for those who might not have made the reveal of Moschino’s Spring-Summer 2021 collection in Milan, it was broadcast on YouTube, which you can check out for yourself below:
