Melbourne’s newest brew-house and pub, Urban Alley Brewery is officially open for business following a huge launch party last Thursday.

And it certainly didn’t disappoint, as attendees were the first to trial the Urban Alley core range, which included Urban Alley Brewery’s signature Urban Ale, the core range also includes UrbanLager, Urban Dark and Urban APA.

Plus, attendees got to rub shoulders with MasterChef 2018 winner: Sasha Cheliah and Real Housewives of Melbourne’s Lydia Schiavello.

Throughout the evening entertainment was none stop, as celebrity mentalist – Australia’s Got Talent Finalist; Phoenix Montgomery astounded guests with his mindreading skills.

In addition, acclaimed artist Daniel Hernandez created 9 x pieces of original art pieces on-site, each of which are inspired by Urban Alley Brewery’s core team, including a portrait of founder Ze’ev Meltzer.

Party-goers were also treated to tasters from the Urban Alley Brewery brew-pub’s menu, which included Rare Beef Striploin on garlic croutons, Beetroot Cured Salmon with crispy quinoa, Moroccan Lamb Kebabs with garlic & mint yoghurt and Southern Fried Chicken Skewers topped with sriracha mayo.

The brewery aesthetic certainly didn’t disappoint as attendees commented on the size of the brewery and the sustainability-focused design, including reclaimed bricks and wood architectural elements. The on-site 25-hectolitre production facility is separated from the brew-pub by only windows, which allows Urban Alley Brewery punters to see their brew being made whilst they enjoy their drinks and food.

Departing party guests were given a goody bag containing official merchandise, and Urban Alley’s Biodegradable six pack rings (E6PR), which are now available via Liqourland and have been introduced as standard for all Urban Alley products. Urban Allery Brewery is currently the only brewery in Australia and 5th brewery in the world to implement its use.
