AVPartners innovates with new event app
By admin

Audiovisual service provider AVPartners has launched a new events app designed to act as an interactive conference guide.

The new platform combines social media tools, gamification, surveys, and live polls with up-to-date, user-friendly event information.

Through the app, delegates can post updates, tag their location, like or comment on posts and send private messages all from within the app. It also integrates with social media platforms Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter with the event’s hashtag automatically added to outbound tweets.

The app aims to ensure events are “accessible and relevant for the modern event delegate”, according to the firm.

“At AVPartners our focus is on enhancing event experiences," founding partner Gary Hackett said.

“An event app was a logical next step as it combines what we do best – the smart use of technology, responsive customer service and ingenuity.”

Information formally communicated through hard copy documentation or through in-person announcements can now be transmitted online through the app by organisers, who can also customise the interface with branding. It also has analytic functions helping organisers to establish trends related to attendee engagement.

Delegates, meanwhile, can submit reviews of the various aspects of the program.

The AVPartners app accommodates all smart phones and is accessible across iOS, Android and HTML5.
