Melbourne Convention Bureau has expanded its Melbourne Values You incentive program targeted at the international corporate and incentive travel reward market , with now more that 100 offers available.

Since the progam's launch, MCB has has significantly expandedmember participation from 30 to more than 40 business events suppliers across the state including Melbourne Convetion and Exhibition Centre, Hilton Melbourne South Wharf and Sofitel Melbourne on Collins among others.

 

The Rendezvous Christchurch Hotel is celebrating its reopening on May 1 with a range of special offers to lure visitors back.

Until June 1, guests will receive 10% off the best available rate every day of the week, including free internet and local calls.

In addition, guests who stay two nights before December 31 will save 20% off the best available rate, and 25% when they stay three nights.

 

South American carrier LAN Airlines has improved its selection of in-flight entertainment on board long-haul flights on its Boeing 767, Boeing 787 and Airbus A340 fleet.

By increasing the number of movies from 45 to 110, the airline group now has the widest range of in-flight entertainment in South America.

 

Etihad has developed an online mapping tool in cooperation with professional social network LinkedIn to make it easier to message new contacts, arrange meetings and be "more productive" while travelling.

The “Etihad Mapped-Out” tool is available at www.etihadmappedout.com and offers professionals on LinkedIn the ability to search their connections by geographical location enabling them to connect with their global network of contacts as they travel.

 

Event technology company iVvy has added new features to its event management system in order to make it easier for its clients to sell and manage exhibition space.

Exhibitors can now book and pay online for their booth, manage their online profile and access important exhibitor information in preparation for a show.

In addition, both Android and Apple users can use its event app to synchronise via cloud technology to iVvy's registration and event management software. Delegate management, surveys and a new venue management product have also been added to its range of products.

 

Travel Management Company FCm has inked two new partner agreements with Alive to offer offer local services in Tanzania and Mozambique.
