A Grand Affair: Unveiling Singapore’s brand-New Pacific Ballroom
Located on level 1 of Pan Pacific Singapore, the newly refurbished Pacific Ballroom is the perfect venue for your next event.
Complementing the extensive renovation of the hotel in 2012 and the refurbishment of the swimming pool in September 2016, the brand-new Pacific Ballroom completes the transformation of the hotel and can be subdivided into three magnificent spaces for exclusive events.
With a private driveway leading to the spacious foyer area, the 805 sqm Pacific Ballroom seats up to 650 guests, making it the perfect venue for meetings, weddings as well as corporate and social events.
As a brand built around the geographies of the Pacific Rim, the design of the new ballroom is inspired by and celebrates the unique sensory voyage of the Pacific Ocean.
Design Inspired by Coastal Life
The fluidity of the misty ocean, reflections of the starry skies, swirling sands on the seabed, majestic corals and wooden boardwalks, the pillar-less ballroom embraces the modern vibrancy of the Pacific.
Taking centerstage is the honeycomb ceiling of warm and neutral shades of brown and beige representing the dappled sun light, encircling the stylish amber crystal ellipse drop chandeliers, representing the elegant jellyfishes in the ocean.
The design of the carpet is reminiscent of a seabed of soft sand and ripples of the ocean waves with coastal hues of turquoise, creamy beige, green and sandy yellow.
Coral-shaped installations are featured on the glass windows of the foyer and sides of the escalators, adding to the Pacific theme. The intricate designs cast a lovely ethereal shadow when sunlight streams into the foyer.
Illuminated columns in the foyer sets the tone for grandeur and elegance during pre-event cocktails.
A series of programmable coloured lighting is fitted in the ceiling of the foyer, allowing organisers the ability to create a mood suitable to the theme of their event.
Stepping into the Pacific Ballroom transports one into the vast and tranquil oceanic realm, ensuring every celebration and event to be a grand affair of elegance and sophistication.
Cutting-Edge Technology
The new ballroom features state-of-the-art audio-visual technology to cater to a multitude of events from wedding celebrations to conferences, meetings and exhibitions.
The transformed foyer now features built-in speakers, enhancing the overall experience and allowing guests to play their custom music playlists or make announcements and speeches.
An enhanced sound system also provides better clarity and quality for crystal clear sound.
The intelligent and advanced lighting system, also known as P3 lighting technology and only available in a few hotels in Singapore, is a sophisticated feature that allows changeable light colours and settings that are fully programmable.
This integrated lighting system offers event organisers and wedding couples automation and controls via an iPad, to create the perfect ambience for their events.
Thematic Coffee Break
In conjunction with the refurbished Pacific Ballroom, a special Peranakan-themed Coffee Break is introduced and available for meeting delegates who wish to inject nostalgia into their meetings.
Expect savoury delicacies such as Hae Bee Hiam Sandwiches, DIY Kueh Pie Tee with Condiments, Nyonya Mee Siam Goreng and a live station with Freshly-wrapped Popiah with Traditional Garnish.
A selection of desserts includes assorted Nyonya Kueh, Coconut Scones with Kaya and Pineapple Jam and Pandan Gula Melaka Chiffon Cake.
A full-day meeting package with lunch and two Peranakan-themed coffee breaks is priced at SGD120 per person. The regular full-day meeting package is priced at SGD100 per person.
