Adelaide travellers get business boost

Adelaide business travellers now have a dedicated business travel booker at hand, with Flight Centre opening its first regional business travel centre in the area.

Flight Centre Business Travel is now open for business in Rundle Mall.

The store is a division of Flight Centre’s retail facing brand, providing a complete travel management service at competitive market rates.

All clients are allocated a dedicated travel manager who is responsible for all of their travel requirements.

Flight Centre Australia’s Tom Walley said a growing SME market in the Adelaide region and beyond within South Australia was a major contributing factor in the decision to set up a business travel specialist service in the area.

“There are in excess of 140,000 small to medium businesses in South Australia so this Flight Centre Business Travel store will service the growing demand for business-related travel in and out of Adelaide.

“It means we can now offer a full corporate travel booking operation,” Walley said.

Since opening in January, Manager Nadine Waring said domestic and regional travel are proving to be the most frequent requests and the unique needs of business travellers is already building a loyal account portfolio.

“Business travellers have unique and very specific needs and our travel account managers are trained with these in mind,” Waring said.

“We manage all types of corporate bookings such as airfares, hotel accommodation, car hire and even airport parking.”

Manager Nadine and consultants Lauren, Lucie and Chevonne have a combined 30 years of travel industry experience to offer clients.
