Catchbox increases audience engagement at Integrate

The company that created the world’s first throwable wireless microphone, Catchbox, increased audience engagement at Australia’s largest industry event for leaders and professionals in AV, Live Events and Systems Integration by providing its devices at a range of sessions.

Integrate 2016 was held between the 23rd and 25th August at Sydney Olympic Park, and gave over 5,300 visitors the opportunity to meet with like-minded industry professionals including suppliers, brands, manufacturers and distributors from around the world.

As well as sponsoring the event, Catchbox provided eight of its unique throwable devices for a number of educational and interactive sessions held throughout the event which included, ‘What is Successful AV and IT Integration’ and ‘Networked AV Leveraging IT Infrastructure in Collaborative Learning Spaces.’

Catchbox CEO and Co-Founder, Timo Kauppila said it was an honour to be involved with Integrate 2016 and was really excited about making an impact on events in this region having recently launched into the Australia and New Zealand market.

“It’s always great to see the real impact Catchbox has on the levels of audience engagement at large scale events like this, especially during educational sessions.”

Integrate Event Manager, Soren Norgaard, added they saw huge benefits in using Catchbox over all three days of Integrate.

“Throwing a Catchbox into the crowd adds a new and fun dynamic to educational sessions, as it allows speakers to move away from a one-to-one interaction with members of the audience. It also lifted audience engagement as their eagerness to use the new tool encouraged more questions and comments.”
