Crowne Plaza Terrigal takes top honour

The Central Coast hotel earned the top award of ‘NSW Meeting Venue under 500 Delegates’ at this month’s Meetings & Events Australia Awards.

The Meetings & Events Australia Awards (MEA Awards) that held in Sydney on March 16 2017, recognise excellence and best business practice in the Meetings & Events Industry. They encourage industry professionals to excel in the achievement of their business and personal goals, and reward those who achieve outstanding results.

The award is judged by a panel of two representatives from the meetings and events industry, as well as an independent consultant from outside the industry. All judgements remain confidential, with each judge independently offering their scores without panel discussion. Judges aren’t allowed to vote for an award that is from their specific area of expertise, ensuring no direct conflict of interest.

Contributing factors that helped Crowne Plaza Terrigal win this award included:
