DMS Connect a big hit down under

DMS Connect a big hit down under

The esteemed industry event, DMS Connect, wrapped up another whirl wind tour across Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland in March.

The shows engaged over 250 MICE and leisure professionals to a stellar selection of global DMCs and DMS’ valued industry partners.

DMS takes pride in partnering with their handpicked industry sponsors to align with the latest trends in the market, to deliver an unmatched service.

In 2017 DMS’ generous sponsors included, Emirates, Hawaiian Airlines, Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, LATAM Airlines, Malaysia Airlines with major sponsors, Air New Zealand and Philippine Airlines, who all kindly contributed to the success of DMS Connect.

One of the Melbourne attendees commented “It was my first DMS Connect and I really enjoyed meeting trustworthy DMCs, along with key suppliers and thought the whole event was professionally presented.”

Marissa Fernandez, managing director added, “It was great to see the market provide such a positive response, not only by attending, but extending high interest in itineraries to destinations such as East Africa with Dragonfly Africa and Ireland with Moloney & Kelly Travel.

“In contrast, we saw Travco Events (a Pacific World alliance) from The UAE receive a lot of hits, with the market finding a new-found appreciation for the unique ideas entwined with more ‘world first’ experiences this ground operator offers, within this desert hub.”

Connect allows the market to network and grow with the pioneers in DMC representative services and destination consulting – DMS. Stay tuned for 2018 dates!
