DoubleTree by Hilton Alice Springs completes $6m renovation

After a four-month refurbishment, DoubleTree by Hilton Alice Springs has transformed its lodgings.

Designed by CIRCA 2000, all 235 guest rooms and suites have been transformed with contemporary and comfortable accommodations, including DoubleTree Sweet Dreams Sleep Experience beds and upholstered contemporary lounges.

Further features include dining and balcony furniture, new ergonomic office desks and chairs, high-quality Italian fabric block-out and sheer curtains, adjustable LED lighting, and Australian-made high-pile carpets.

Additionally, the guest rooms and suites now boast modern bathroom fittings and fitments, including multi-function rail showers, composite stone vanity units, and rimless toilet suites.

Connectivity throughout the hotel has also been upgraded, including updating in-room entertainment with 55-inch smart televisions, which provide guests with the similar comforts of home by allowing them to stream their own content within their guest room.

The hotel’s colour palette has also been composed to reflect its unique Australian outback setting.

Giorgio Romein, hotel manager at DoubleTree by Hilton Alice Springs, said the renovation marks the first step in a new chapter for the hotel and Alice Springs.

“Our refreshed hotel will help meet the growing need for quality accommodations in Alice Springs, and I am confident our team will deliver a guest experience that rivals the finished product, resulting in a premier experience for our guests,” he said.

DoubleTree by Hilton Alice Springs is only 15 kilometers from Alice Springs Airport, and within walking distance of downtown and the Alice Springs Convention Centre.

Additional hotel highlights include a 24-hour fitness centre, two tennis courts, a heated outdoor pool overlooking the garden landscape, an 18-hole golf course located next door, and five function rooms with outdoor breakout spaces and offsite catering options.
